Suave support

Activation messages, explained

Suave says What to do
"Copy your license key first (from your purchase email), then press Paste & Activate." Nothing has been copied yet. Copy the whole key from your email, then press Paste & Activate again.
"That key has a typo. Copy it again from your purchase email (or use Paste & Activate)." A character got lost or changed. Copy it again from the email. Paste & Activate avoids typos.
"That doesn't look like a complete Suave key. Copy the whole key from your email and try again." Only part of the key was copied. It starts with SUAVE- and has four groups of five characters.
"That key isn't valid for Suave. Check that you copied the whole key." Make sure it's the key from "Your Suave license key", not your Paddle order number.
"This key isn't known. Check that you copied the whole key from your purchase email." Same as above. If it keeps happening, email us.
"Couldn't reach the Suave license server. Check this computer's internet connection and try again." The computer needs internet for a moment. Check the connection, or pause a VPN or firewall that blocks your DAW. No internet there? Get an offline key.
"The license server had a problem (error …). Please try again in a few minutes." Try again a little later. If it keeps happening, email us the error number.
"This key has moved to a different computer 3 times in the last 30 days. Please contact support to move it again." Email us and we'll move it for you.
"This key was made for a different computer. Send this computer's code (above) to get a key for it." That's an offline key for another computer. Get one for this computer.
"This key has been cancelled…" or "This key has been deactivated. Please contact support." The key was cancelled, for example after a refund. If you think that's a mistake, email us.
"Your Suave key was activated on another computer (…). Activate it again here to move it back - it then stops on the other computer." Your license moved to another computer. How moving works.
"This Suave license was cancelled (…). If you think that's a mistake, please contact support." If that's unexpected, email us.
